The Fellowship
Bellator Recruiting Academy is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on transforming the lives of veterans. Our fellowship has been set up to train veterans in the recruiting industry. We are the catalyst that positions them into new careers. Bellator Recruiting Academy is fortunate to be partnered with some of the fastest growing and most innovative firms in the Washington DC Metropolitan area and the Silicon Valley. Our immersion programs enable veterans to learn best practices and recruiting methodologies used by the most successful recruiting teams in the country. The program includes three to twelve month engagements working side by side with our partner's talent acquisition teams.

Learn the best practices at each stage of the recruitment lifecycle

Fellows will be immersed within talent acquisition teams at companies with a focus on the Government Contracting, Technology, and Finance industries

Extensive one-on-one and group sessions with talent acquisition experts representing companies from across industry

Internet sourcing boot camps that teach powerful social media recruiting tools and strategies

Serve as the primary interface between hiring managers and other stakeholders in the organization

Train in advising hiring managers in candidate selection, negotiating offers, coordinating start dates, and overseeing the onboarding process

Learn how to create and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to identify candidates who meet requirements and/or build talent pools for current and future requirements

Interpret client needs and lead recruiting efforts while generating ideas for effective sourcing strategies and then evaluate/tweak to maximize results

Exposure to a wide variety of components related to corporations including, operations, business development, human resources, sales, engineering, and others

Bellator Recruiting Academy’s goal is that every fellow completes the program with a new perspective on the recruiting industry. Although we can not guarantee employment for everyone who completes the program we are extremely confident that the program will increase the chances of employment in the recruiting industry.
